Well here are some bottle cap bookmarks. They are going to be for an up and coming craft fayre. I thought they turned out really nicely and I will be putting one to the test starting today to see that it does the purpose it was designed for.

I have OCD, its official.

i bought the movie twilight which coincided with the release of the New Moon, needless to say after I'd watched the first one, I was at the shop the very next day eagerly handing over my money for my next instalment,

Edward Cullen/ Robert Pattinson is the dishiest personb alive and young enough to be my son, do i care?? Not a whit.

Bought the books and read each one in a day or so, treated myself to an umbrella with a pic of him on ( and it hasnt yet rained for me to use it), got a warm fleece throw and found a Twilight partner in crime to go the the next instalment Eclipse when it is released .

Making some Vintage bottlecap Magnets today

Have mod podge to the ready , today I'm making vintage boottle cap magnets for a swap inspired by The Somerset magazine. i really want to get my hands on one of these magazines but as they are only in the USA I think, i might have to wiat a while until I get one.


My Dream banner has now been sent to my swop partner and I will be posting a pic soon of the one I get in return. its always lovely to receive another persons perspective on a project you have been making.

Buttons buttons buttons

Building up my button stock to make button brooches, will be starting very soon. pics to follow.

A little closer, cant fit it all in close up I'm afraid.

Loved making this, cant wait to start the next one.

After a week looking for buttons, I've decided its like pulling teeth. I ended up paying over 13 pounds for 280 gingham buttons for my button brooch making. Clear large buttons seem to be very elusive.
A friend started my button collection off with an assortment of buttons which will come in really useful.
As is ever I wished I lived in The United States, I'm sure they dont have this problem. I get so many crafting this from the States I may aswell live there.
My friends and people in the UK havent a clue when I talk about Primitive or grubby candles, i think they just grasp Shabby chic, oh we are so behind in the UK!!!

I finished a Dream mini banner this week which I'm delighted with as its turned out so pretty. please see pics and let me know what you think.
